Our children’s health nutrition service supports families with practical, evidence-based strategies that make mealtimes simpler, healthier, and more manageable. Whether your child struggles with picky eating, growth challenges, food intolerances, digestive issues, or needs support as a neurodivergent child, we provide tailored advice that fits your family’s unique needs. Our aim is to help you feel confident in your decisions, reduce stress around food, and support your child to thrive.

Appointment Options

For New Clients

Initial Nutrition Consult

We offer a range of parent-based sessions in clinic, at home* or via telehealth.

An initial appointment is designed to provide an opportunity to complete a comprehensive assessment with or without your child present to discuss your concerns and review medical/diagnosis history, gastrointestinal concerns, growth and development, family and child routines, behaviours, oral motor skills, diet and early feeding history. This appointment will allow you to meet your Dietitian and confirm if they are the right fit for you and your family.  

A report can be provided on request. *Set travel fees apply based on location.

Ongoing Appointments

We offer a range of ongoing parent-based sessions or sessions with your child in clinic, at home*, daycare/school*, or via telehealth.

We may offer:

  • Block based feeding therapy i.e. weekly/fortnightly support across a term OR  
  • Parent-based support that is tailored to your child and family needs (e.g. fortnightly progressing to monthly spaced appointments) 


We offer these services through both NDIS and privately. *Set travel fees apply based on location.

Home Visits

We provide home visits to Newcastle (including Stockton), Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Region.

We offer 45-60 minute sessions at home (with additional travel set fee’s based on location). This provides an opportunity to provide feeding therapy or food exploration with your child within their natural and comfortable environment.

You can make an appointment online through our book now section, email us at [email protected] to find out more or call 0493 331 494 to make an appointment over the phone. 

We will require a $50 deposit to secure your appointment. See our cancellation policy for more details.

During your initial consultation, we’ll complete a thorough medical and nutrition history and determine your health goals. At the end of the session, you will leave with a few tips and strategies to get started with prior to your next appointment.

The information collected in the initial consult will allow us to create a personalised nutrition plan tailored to your needs and provide a clear path to helping you achieve your goals.

No! You can see a dietitian without requiring a referral from a GP or Specialist. 

We will only require a referral from your GP if you are eligible and you would like to use a visit from your Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), Team Care Arrangement (TCA), or Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP).

You may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 5 allied health appointments (including dietitian) per calendar year under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) or Team Care Arrangement Plan (TCA).

For eating disorder support you may be eligible for up to 20 dietitian appointments under an Eating Disorder Treatment and Managment Plan (EDP).  

You will require a GP referral to access this scheme so speak with your GP if this is right for you. Current Medicare rebates through this scheme are set at $60.35. With the appropriate referral, we can process this rebate for you following your consult.
