Meet Laura and Pip

Hey, we’re Laura and Pip, Accredited Practising Dietitians and co-founders of Flora Health, a Newcastle-based clinic specialising in women’s health, paediatric, and family nutrition.

We provide evidence-based nutrition care for women, children, and families across Newcastle and the Hunter region. Our services include women’s health support, paediatric and family nutrition, and eating disorder or disordered eating recovery.

Our goal? To help you quiet your inner food critic, ditch the food guilt, and ease the mental load, so that food feels simple, not stressful, to help you live a fuller, healthier life

You can make an appointment online through our book now section, email us at [email protected] to find out more or call 0493 331 494 to make an appointment over the phone. 

We will require a $50 deposit to secure your appointment. See our cancellation policy for more details.

During your initial consultation, we’ll complete a thorough medical and nutrition history and determine your health goals. At the end of the session, you will leave with a few tips and strategies to get started with prior to your next appointment.

The information collected in the initial consult will allow us to create a personalised nutrition plan tailored to your needs and provide a clear path to helping you achieve your goals.

No! You can see a dietitian without requiring a referral from a GP or Specialist. 

We will only require a referral from your GP if you are eligible and you would like to use a visit from your Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), Team Care Arrangement (TCA), or Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP).

You may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 5 allied health appointments (including dietitian) per calendar year under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) or Team Care Arrangement Plan (TCA).

For eating disorder support you may be eligible for up to 20 dietitian appointments under an Eating Disorder Treatment and Managment Plan (EDP).  

You will require a GP referral to access this scheme so speak with your GP if this is right for you. Current Medicare rebates through this scheme are set at $60.35. With the appropriate referral, we can process this rebate for you following your consult.

Flora Health Services offers appointments both online (phone call or video call) and face to face in Lambton, NSW. Please let us know which option you would prefer.
